Byars & Hall, PLLC

Attorneys at Law - Fort Smith, Arkansas

Attorney Joe D. Byars, Jr.

Joe Byars is an experienced attorney who has been practicing general civil litigation since 1988. He has represented clients in complex and serious personal injury cases, business and employment litigation, and products liability litigation, emphasizing intense, thorough preparation in all of his cases. Joe believes that training and know-how definitely pay benefits, but skills must be combined with dedication and tenacity.

Mr. Byars graduated from Baylor University in 1985, and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas in 1988. Joe began his practice in Dallas, Texas, with a mid-sized firm where he immediately gained experience in business litigation, with an emphasis in protecting trade secrets, and intellectual property litigation. In 1995, Joe moved “back home” to Fort Smith, where he has practiced ever since, first practicing with Eddie Christian, and then joining Brent Hall to form Byars & Hall, PLLC.

Joe resides in Fort Smith with his wife, Carla, who is a teacher at Darby Junior High School. They have two children, Katherine and Nick, both of whom are pursuing careers in dentistry. They attend First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith.
